I was walking back from class and saw this awesome Peugeot 504 wagon parked on campus. The owner let me take a few pictures and mentioned he owns 6 (!!!) other Peugeots and a Renault. He used to have a Fuego, which rusted to oblivion in the PNW.
This example (not sure of the year) has 408k on the clock, with no engine rebuilds. It has a 2.6L V6 (thanks for the correction!) mated to a 5-speed manual, indicating it's one of the later cars.
A really cool find, and something I'll remember for a while.

Wow, haven't seen one of those in ages.

I did a double take when I saw it. I've only seen one other 504, and that was a sedan in LA.

Haha, I wish there were more of them.

Same! I love seeing older imported cars, but it's a shame there are so few.

You have to be hard core to keep that thing on the road.

It wouldn't be a 3.6 as they didn't make anything that big but it might be a 2.7 with the PRV V6 (as used by Delorean).

You're right, my mistake. It was the 2.6.
